About Journal

The bulletin is the official publication of the National Nutrition Institute (NNI). It publishes; (original articles, papers, book reviews, case reports, research reports, invited editorials, letters to the Editor, special communications, announcements and upcoming events) in the area of human nutrition in health and disease and related sciences. It is published two times/year. 

The principal areas covered are nutritional sciences, community nutrition, nutrition education, nutrition assessment, the psychology of food habits and behavior, hospital dietetics, capacity building in nutrition, food safety, food security, food sciences, biotechnology, anthropology, and nutrition biochemistry.

  • This bulletin operates a double-blind review process. All contributions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the bulletin.
  • Revised manuscripts should also be accompanied by a file (separate from the cover letter) with responses to reviewers' comments.  All files should be labeled with appropriate and descriptive file names. Tables and graphics must be submitted as separate files save as (JPGs). Complete instructions for electronic artwork submission are accessible via the BNNI home page (http://bnni.journals.ekb.eg/). The website guides authors through the creation and uploading of the various files. The preferred file format is Microsoft Word.  Please note that PDF files are not allowed for submission. When the submission files are uploaded, the system automatically generates an electronic (PDF) proof which is then used for the review.

The editor reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with the above-mentioned requirements
